Piknik Smaku i Sztuki comes to Plac Nowy Targ in Wrocław on 24 to 26 July and 7 to 9 August 2026, bringing regional food, local crafts, family activities and free entertainment.
Plac Nowy Targ will become a vibrant meeting place for food lovers, artists and families again as Piknik Smaku i Sztuki (Picnic of Taste and Art) continues in the heart of Wrocław. Taking place across another two summer weekends, the free event will celebrate Lower Silesian traditions, regional producers and local creativity while offering plenty of entertainment for visitors of all ages.
A Celebration of Lower Silesian Products
One of the highlights of the event is a dedicated regional products zone featuring Lower Silesian producers, family-run businesses and local rural women’s associations. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover a wide selection of locally made products while supporting independent producers from across the region.
Family Activities at the Unicorn Festival Zone
Children will have their own dedicated space with the Festiwal Jednorożca (Unicorn Festival). The programme includes:
- Face painting
- Giant soap bubbles
- Unicorn and rainbow chalk art
- A colourful themed photo zone
The activities are designed to provide creative entertainment throughout the weekend, making the event an attractive destination for families during the school holidays.
Street Food and Local Creativity
Alongside the family attractions, visitors can enjoy a food truck zone serving a variety of meals and snacks.
The event will also showcase the work of local artists, craftspeople and artisans, offering visitors the chance to browse unique handmade creations inspired by regional traditions and contemporary craftsmanship.
